Zara Icons - Karen Elson

Super Nova: Moments come and go, but Icons are forever. In honor of the Zara Icons Shirt Collection, renowned rock and roll photographer Annie Leibovitz got behind the lens to capture supermodel and singer-songwriter Karen Elson. A series of intimate portraits were shot on location in New York City's Electric Lady Studios, the legendary production facility Jimi Hendrix commissioned in 1970. The Greenwich Village studio where Led Zeppelin, Stevie Wonder, Lou Reed, John Lennon and David Bowie recorded became a character in itself, serving as backdrop and inspiration for a behind the scenes look at Elon’s recording process. Five original tracks by Karen Elson, curated especially for the occasion, were featured in web layouts and social media posts.
